The Greeting Farm May 2024 Stamp Feature Day 2: ANYA IN VIETNAM

Anya is traveling again and this month she is in Vietnam. While there, she had to take a Vietnamese sailboat to go visit Halong Bay's limestone islands. And who knows....she might have even spied a crane or two. ANYA IN VIETNAM features a gorgeous Anya along with 6 accessory stamps and two sentiments.

I used some washi paper in my stash for the background and to paper-piece her dress. The scallop circles were created using a Jaded Blossom Die. To finish off the card, I added beautiful I Am Roses flowers.

Jaded Blossom May 2024 New Release BLOG HOP!

Happy Thursday friends! It's time for the Jaded Blossom May 2024 Release! To celebrate, we are having a little hop to showcase the fabulous projects created by the Design Team. If you are here from Julee's Blog, then you are in the right place. If you are just passing through, please start at the beginning because you don't want to miss a thing! I have the complete line up at the bottom of this post.

I found some awesome mermaid tail lollipops on Amazon and used the Lollipop Die to create these stand-up holders. I cut each holder from white cardstock. Then I folded along the lines and inked up the front with Broken China and Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide Ink. Next, I splattered water over the top. I cut the bottom of the lollipop die from sand digital paper and used Deckle-edge scissors to trim the top. I added the seaweed and mermaid from Gnome Dies: Mermaid Add Ons. The faces on the mermaids came from Make Up Faces Stamp Set.

The mermaid tail lollipops come in 3 beautiful colors so I colored each mermaid to match the lollipop inside. All 3 sentiments are from Make A Splash Gnomie Stamp Set.

The Greeting Farm May 2024 Stamp Feature Day 1: BIRTHDAY DOGS

Happy Thursday friends! We are on Day 1 of Stamp Features for the May 2024 New Release at The Greeting Farm. This month, TGF introduced 3 new stamp sets which are all available now for purchase. Today's set is called BIRTHDAY DOGS, and features the cutest puppies ready to paw-tay with love and licks! It comes with two different dog images, along with a couple accessory stamps, and 3 sentiments. I showcased the entire stamp set on this slimline card. I love how DT Elisabete cut the row of 4 dogs into 2 separate images to add alongside the dogs with the cake so I did the same. The puppy on the far right cracks me up! I added a bone to the dog's mouth next to him to justify the side stank eye, hahahaha!

The clouds were made using a stencil and Distress Oxide Ink. I cut pattern paper for grassy area. I raised the grass, presents, and puppy images on foam tape for extra dimension.

It's May and Mermay so I'm continuing featuring mermaids from various companies this month. Today's card features this adorable digital stamp I colored up last year called The Guppies: Betta from Sweet November Stamps. I challenged myself to use colors I don't normally use and I even added a koi pattern to her tail. My niece's birthday is coming up so I made this one a birthday card.

The large orange/white flower is the R43 half white half orange Peony.....I LOVE these two tone flowers! Next, I added S3-4 Black Cherry Blossoms, followed by S10m White and Peach Small Flowers. I colored the Tiny Soft Pink Edge leaves black so they would coordinate. The sentiment is from Jaded Blossom Make A Splash Gnomie Stamps.

Jaded Blossom May 2024 Release: SNEAK PEEK DAY 3

This new release is mermazing! Today's sneak peek features the Embellishment Cluster Die that can be used in so many different ways. You can glue the various shapes directly to your card or you can make your own shaker bits.....which is what I did! I knew when I saw the Mermaid Silhouette Stencil (FREEBIE offer) that I wanted to make a shaker Snow Globe.

I had some glitter and holographic paper in my stash so I used them to create the shaker pieces. I cut double of the shapes, and glued the paper back to back so if any pieces flip over you don't see the white back. 

I used various Distress Oxide Inks to color the background and circle frame. The sentiment is from the new Make A Splash Gnomie Stamp Set.

This new release is mermazing! Today's sneak peek features a beautiful Fancy Shell Die, Mermaid To Be Friends Stamps + Outline Dies, and the Seaweed Stencil. I found these awesome Mermaid Jewels Shell Gummies, and used the XL Topper Die for my project.

The background was created using Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide Ink with the Seaweed Stencil over blue paper. I used sand digital paper for the sea bottom. The shell die pieces were inked using Distress Inks: Antique Linen, Spun Sugar, and Pumice Stone. 

Here is a closeup of the topper. I used copic makers to color the mermaid, except her tail. On the tail I used Distress Ink and then added gold scallops and white highlights.

This new release is mermazing! All of the gnome die add ons bring me back to my paper doll days when I was younger. I keep adding details and more details and next thing I know it's been hours and I haven't even eaten dinner, LOL! Today's sneak peek features Gnome Dies: Mermaid Add Ons, Make A Splash Gnomie Stamps + Outline Dies, and the Bubble Stencil. I decided to use Make Up Faces Stamps to create more girlie mermaids instead of gnome mermaids. Isn't the seahorse the cutest thing ever?!!

The background was created using Distress Oxide Inks: Tumbled Glass, Broken China, Blueprint Sketch, and Faded Jeans. I splattered water over the blue and then used Hero Arts Unicorn White Pigment Ink over the Bubble Stencil. The sand is printed digital paper. I used deckle edge scissors to cut it. The seahorse and small mermaid are raised on foam tape.

Jaded Blossom: HELLO MY FRIEND

Happy Friday everyone! I'm back today with my latest card featuring some wonderful products from Jaded Blossom. For the month of May, Jaded Blossom is spotlighting two stamp sets: Happy Hello and Happy Hello Add Ons 2. There is even a bundle deal to purchase the stamp sets with their coordinating outline dies for a bigger discount. I love these two sentiment sets because they are so versatile and perfect for so many different occasions!

I used both sentiment sets on this card. The "Hello" is from Hello Add Ons 2, and the "My Friend" is from Happy Hello. The gnome is from Buzzing with my Gnomies. I cut several of the Circle Internal Scallops Die and glued them together to raise the black circle frame. The cloud paper was cut out using the Stitched Circled Dies which fit behind the scallop frame perfectly. I wanted the gnome to look like he was popping out of the circle so I cut off his bottom half and raised the flower on foam tape so it pops out of the black circle.

The white panel was cut out using Rectangle Dies 2, and then framed by a black piece of cardstock cut to 4 x 5.25. The white card base is A2 size (4.25 x 5.5)

Today, I used the Happy Hello Stamp Set (part of the Monthly Spotlight) with Label Shape Dies 1 to create this quick birthday card. I added paper flowers from I Am Roses in two corners, and finished it off with pink Doodlebug Design Enamel Dots in the other two corners. 

 

I also created a CAS version of this card without the flowers.
